Tiny Moth Hearts

In this tiny stylized world, a rainy evening sets the stage for a fleeting encounter. The girl, umbrella in hand, glancing at the boy, who leans casually on his leaf car, eyes turned to the sky. In that quiet moment, everything pauses: the rain, the world, and perhaps even time itself, as if they could fall in love right there, under the soft drizzle.

The Leaf Car

The car is built from leaves, twigs, small branches, amber, insect parts, and acorn caps. Materials the moths could find and use in their tiny world. While it has organic shapes, it feels solid and practical, designed to move through the rain.

Polly & Mothy

I created the characters to give the scene more life and emotion. They are human characters with moth-inspired traits and opposite personalities: Polly, the girl (Bombyx mori), is gentle, with pale, delicate tones, calm and composed; while Mothy, the boy (Bombyx mandarina), is wilder, with earthy brown and amber tones, bringing a sense of energy and spontaneity.

Assets

Everything in the scene is fully hand-painted, not just the assets.
